Quick trip into Edinburgh in the morning for bank and shop needs, then a couple of Pest delivery trips, the solo legs of the trip accompanied by the re-released Robert Fripp album Exposure, and by Paul Simon’s Surprise.
In the evening a party at Fraser’s house and botanical garden, with some nice people and some fun but cross-purposes jams (definition: everyone playing their own song that they think somewhere crosses over with the ones other people are playing), one featuring enthusiastic interjections from an 11-year old harmonica player, who was later overheard by your correspondent trying to negotiate a gig with Hannah O’Reilly!
