The OOTB gig in Queensferry yesterday afternoon was a treat – great weather, lots of friends and a successful performance plugging the Queensferry Arts Festival and raising some money to go towards our publicity budget. The OOTB site has some pix of the event.
Quite a different gig but also fun was our return to the Nicolson St BeanScene. Nelson was in the audience and saved me from my own forgetfulness by providing a guitar lead. One of us is a champ, the other a chump.
Today, Mary Robbs confirmed to me that she’s leaving the Innocents, with immediate effect. This wasn’t altogether a surprise and I’d like to thank her publicly for her playing, her presence and her frocks over the last few years. She’ll still be playing in various lineups across town so say hello to her.
Tonight, practising WaveForms for Tuesday’s performance. I recorded them all, and another one, The Failure of Diplomacy, is on the jukebox. (Bu the way, if you used to like the collection of diverse tracks I usually fill the jukebox with don’t worry – it’s not going to be all me from now on! I’ll be selecting some more favourites soon.)
