Worry

My life has been full of terrible misfortunes – most of which never happened.
(Michel de Montaigne, essayist (1533-1592)

Worry is something we do; it often feels involuntary, something we can’t help, but we can make a decision to focus elsewhere, by looking around, by touching something, by counting our breaths in and out. Just coming back to what’s real.

Worry is a misuse of the imagination.
