Becoming interested in, and sometimes capable of, hearing silence behind the normal sounds of everyday life.  Leaving aside Simon and Garfunkel for the moment, it actually has a sound.

At work, a day of Javascript and quite successful.

In the evening, our last parents’ night at the school, as Pest leaves in June. She always gets glowing reports: ‘a pleasure to teach’. What will they do for pleasure next year?

Later, discussion with Plague on his priorities. He’s torn between upgrading his computer, getting a more reliable car, or moving out into his own place.
