Nothing much to report today but I’ve brought the holiday stuff up to date below. It’s been hard to write – what to leave out, remembering things as I wrote that I’d forgotten already, and the tantalising and frustrating recognition that some details had already slipped away from memory. But the fact that I’ve written it will serve me more than the reader – I have more detail of this trip than any other I’ve made, But then, it was more special than any other.
