T and S invited me to go to Spiderman 3 with their 7-year-old so off I went this morning. While waiting for them, spent some birthday money on Tony Visconti’s autobiography. Enjoyed the film on the whole, but it was a bit long and drawn-out.
Lunch with them in Pizza Hut, during which their baby daughter fell asleep in my arms. That took me back! Lovely feeling.
Home to do the weekly shop while Madame tended to the garden, then dinner and Dr Who. I almost had a day without turning on my computer. Almost. But here I am. After this it goes off and I return to Mr Visconti.
Is that Tony Visconti book any good Norm? SOunds rather interesting . . .
Yes – very good so far, especially if you’re a Bolan or Bowie fan.
