Pestilence has scarlet fever and will be off school and work for a week. Already she’s mad with boredom. I spent the day delving into the depths of CSS, including the ‘box model hack’ (Richard Thompson should write a song about it). Went to Jujutsu where, unusually, we spent the entire session on one technique, just repeating it until our bodies had an idea what they were supposed to do. Unusually too it didn’t hurt the much-abused wrists.
Home at 8.30 for food, Rome and Lost. Pest, with no school in the morning, stayed up for the next episode on E4 but I couldn’t match her stamina.
