    Arthur’s Seat

    December 7, 2011May 4, 2007 by Norman

Arthur's Seat (Edinburgh Festival and Fringe Picture Gallery)

    Time makes solid

    The bubbling earth

    Its hurlings frozen

    In black gestures

    Years of sleep bring

    The soft grass

    To calm the memory

And bring little Ishbel, with her red cheeks

    To play in the shadows

    Of a catastrophe.
