I’ve posted occasionally about the new solo album I’ve been recording with Gerry Callaghan since we finished In Another Life. Gerry’s aim was to make it a pure singer/songwriter album with the bare minimum of instrumentation. We’ve stretched that a little but it’s been the guiding principle.
The album’s not titled yet and we haven’t selected the final tracks but here’s a preview. A sparse production with James Whyte coming in on harmonium and Alan Dawson on harmonica. It’s a kind of pub infatuation story, we’ve probably all been there. Hope you like it.
The video uses scenes from the 1932 film Rain starring the beautiful Joan Crawford.
That’s REALLY lovely!
