More on Momus

After I mentioned Momus a few times here, I was contacted by John Robinson, who told me he’d created a site reviewing all Momus’s albums.

So far he’s covered more than ten early albums, singles and EPs. If you’re interested in this extraordinary singer-songwriter-novelist-artist, this would be a great place to start.

You can find Momus’s own reflections on those same albums online, starting here:

That link was to his old online journal (still there and still fascinating). His current hangout is here:

Finally I’d like to thank you for your interest in my site and my music. 2019 has been a good year for me, finding a lot of new friends of my songs, and working all year on Ten Objects. I’m still undecided what next year’s focus will be on, but I think it’ll be on getting songs out more regularly without waiting for an album as a ‘package’. I have 38 unfinished songs on my PC and may set about completing one per month and putting it out there to find its audience. That, and getting back to the studio with the Heaven Sent. We’ll see.

I hope 2020 is a year of plenty for you, and here’s the video I made last year of Momus’s beautiful Christmas on Earth.
