Music seems to be opening up for me again. We had a good traditional-style Innocents gig at the BeanScene last night, making up for last week’s less organised effort. Then I’ve rediscovered the joy of playing guitar thanks to Joni Mitchell tunings; if I get a floor spot at the Listening Room on Sunday (Houdini Box acoustic gig, kiddies – will be special!) I’ll do Edith and the Kingpin.
Finally I’ve been playing round with synth and loops and have come up with some radically different versions of a couple of the Wolf songs which I’ll probably premiere at the Full Moon Club on March 3rd or the Houdini Box/Oktober/Lamont gig on March 10th at the Mercat. I’m excited about this stuff.
