Sleeper Awake (I hope not)

Clearing my desk for an overnight trip to London on the sleeper train. I did it once before as an alternative to a cramped early flight and found it quite agreeable, except for the start, in a cold and bleak station at half past eleven. Once you’re in your little cubicle it’s OK and I slept all right last time. I woke to a knock on the door and a tray of breakfast.

I’ll be in London at 7:30 and back on the train again at 2. While the company’s keen for more meetings to be replaced by phone calls, teleconferences and video conferences, some meetings are best held face to face.  So I’m getting packed and off to Waverley.
