A couple of weeks ago I wrote about an excellent weekend in Bridge of Orchy with some other songwriters. Andrew Ferguson has also written about it here.
The digital album is now on sale for only £7.00 and 100% of the money earned will go to Cancer Relief UK. For my own input there’s a tightened up version of the song I wrote there, History of a Love in 10 Objects, which I think may be one of my best, and a lovely version of Crying In The Street sung by Tricia Thom, marking the long-awaited (by me at least) reunion of Hungry Ghosts. A personal favourite is Andrew’s Clara Said Yesterday. It was written there, as was Calum’s Uphill. Tthere’s enough variety here that you’re sure to find something that’ll move you. Please buy it for a great cause.
